Teachers on the Estuary

Meaningful Watershed Education Experiences (MWEE) enliven learning and support social-emotional learning and wellness for students and teachers. This 5-day course models a MWEE for middle and high school students through participant-driven field experiences and authentic research conducted by a community of educators in an immersive, joyful, and supportive environment. The in-person workshop happens every year in late July/early August in collaboration with NOAA, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Maryland's Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.
