The Hidden World of Plankton

This 1-hour lesson introduces 3-5th grade audiences to the hidden world of plankton. No matter students' proximity to the ocean, plankton plays a vital role in their lives. By observing live plankton under microscopes, with the option of implementing scientific journaling techniques, students will be inspired by the incredible biodiversity that many people don't realize exists in our ocean!
