Description: Through hands-on lab-based activities, students learn how volcanoes form from geological processes, identify the main types of volcanoes, discover how volcanoes are different than mountains, are introduced to igneous rocks, and learn how volcanoes help to create some types of habitats in Alaska. This program includes hands-on learning activities, small group work, and educational props.
