IRWP's Water Quality Monitoring Program works to collect, provide, and analyze data on the streams of the Upper Illinois River Watershed in even years and the Lower Illinois River Watershed in odd years. We collaborate with partner organizations, citizen scientists, and student groups to collect data in the field. We generate an EcoAssessment Report annually to summarize our findings to provide water health information and best management practice recommendations to our partner organizations, municipalities, landowners, planning commissions, developers, and more.
