Wenatchee River Floodplain Restoration Project

Working parallel to biologists but on their own plot, students installede100+ native plants to enhance salmon habitat The area is fenced and irrigated until plants are able to reach native moisture and withstand local wildlife usage. Students are monitoring survival and growth rates of plants and are starting a site-specific guide book using their drawings and photographs from digital cameras and trail cameras. This will be linked to a QR code in the parking lot when opened to the public.
