Students divide into groups to rotate between a data collection session on the Santa Cruz Wharf, and a guided exploration of the Center's interactive exhibits. On the wharf, students will have the opportunity to capture plankton and take different measurements that affect oceanography such as wind speed, temperature, salinity, water color, and water clarity, connecting them to water quality and impacts from land.
