Youth Action Council (Teens)

Leadership program for high school students who have a passion for marine science and want to make a positive impact in their community for the ocean. Through experiential activities, students learn about cutting-edge science used to assist in the recovery of the critically endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales. A series of interactive workshops demonstrating different field techniques precede a variety of youth-driven initiatives to raise awareness of the amount of human impacts affecting these whales and how people can help.
