Youth Backcountry Camp

This program features four-day backpacking expeditions that utilize experiential outdoor education to develop backcountry knowledge, confidence, leadership skills, and environmental stewardship in youth. Teens work together to filter water, cook backcountry meals, practice Leave No Trace ethics, and overcome the challenges of backpacking. To ensure these meaningful experiences are accessible to all youth, each expedition is fully outfitted with instructors, gear, and food at no cost to participants who face barriers to the outdoors.
