Youth Environmental Leadership Camp

YELC is an immersive summer program for 6th/7th-grade students. Splash will emphasize recruiting campers from groups that are historically excluded in the outdoors and STEM. Campers will attend a 1-week camp, in groups of 15, where youth will become change agents who design and implement climate-smart solutions to improve air/water quality and natural habitats where they live. After camp, campers make a positive impact by volunteering for at least two community enhancement events, (e.g. creek and neighborhood cleanups, tree plantings).
