Dinosaur Ridge educates and inspires wonder in visitors of all backgrounds about the science and history of the fossils and natural resources found at Dinosaur Ridge, Triceratops Trail, and related paleontology sites. We practice responsible stewardship with a strong commitment and urgency to preserve the fossils and natural resources for future generations.

The nonprofit Friends of Fitzgerald Marine Reserve was formed in 1985. Our mission is to inspire the preservation of our unique intertidal environment through education and the support of research. As a volunteer organization, the Friends works to assist with the operation of the Reserve managed by San Mateo County Parks. Every year our naturalists engage over 3000 students on organized tours of the intertidal environment.

Friends of Heron Haven is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the natural bio-diversity of the Omaha wetland known as Heron Haven. The goals of the organization also include the maintenance and development of manmade facilities and exhibits to provide opportunities for indoor and outdoor nature study, as well as the passive enjoyment and appreciation of wetland flora and fauna.

The Friends of Huddart and Wunderlich Parks are park enthusiasts and stewards who provide a wide range of programs and events in two historic redwood parks in the heart of the Bay Area. Our mission is to promote the positive health and community benefits provided by these parks and to support equitable and inclusive access for all park users. We lead hikes, provide environmental education, showcase local history and celebrate the unique horse heritage of San Mateo County.

Friends of Lovers Key seeks to advance environmental education and stewardship opportunities at Lovers Key State Park, and foster public commitment to protection of coastal waterways and habitats.
