Since 1989, WOLF School has been dedicated to providing engaging and impactful educational outdoor experiences for California’s K-12th grade students and families. We believe in the transformative power of outdoor experiences, and are committed to designing immersive programs that connect youth with nature, empower individuals, and strengthen communities. Through lessons and activities that make learning fun, WOLF School gives teachers the opportunity to enhance classroom curriculum, and gives students the chance to gain knowledge, awareness, and respect of their environment, their community, and themselves.

To practice and promote stewardship of coasts and estuaries through innovative research, education, and training using a place-based system of protected areas.

Improve the quality of life within the West Atlanta Watershed by protecting, preserving, and restoring our community’s natural resources.

To improve lives through life skill development with local, state, and national partners, research-based methods and programming, service-oriented practices, long-term strategic planning, and play.

The WNC Nature Center connects people with the animals and plants of the Southern Appalachian Mountain region by inspiring appreciation, nurturing understanding, and advancing conservation.

Dwindling biodiversity is a threat to the foundation of life on earth. In the last century alone, we’ve lost millions of acres of diverse ecosystems to urbanization. Native plants help protect and restore biodiversity, improve air and water quality and provide wildlife with quality food and shelter. Our vision is native plants and natural landscapes in every community.
