Friends is a non-profit whose mission is to assist the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in support of the five National Wildlife Refuges in Rhode Island. The Friends support numerous efforts of the Refuge staff by financing summer interns, special events, and other projects; managing the annual Junior Duck Stamp art competition for students; and presenting lectures and other programs.
