Our mission is to sustain the natural environment and enhance urban spaces through land conservation, community engagement and education.

Through youth-led waste diversion projects, habituate lifelong waste diversion practices that cultivate sustainability, foster environmental understanding and reduce waste.

The Green Valley Project is comprised of youths ages 15 to 20 who are working together to grow more habitat for local plants and animals, remove invasive species that can threaten an ecosystem, and educate the public on environmental restoration. We plant micro-forests, pollinator gardens, and drought tolerant gardens for our community. We have various educational opportunities, community volunteer events and leadership opportunities including the Green Valley Project Youth Council, Communications Internship, and PAX Environmental Science Institute.

Greenacres will always reflect the style and grace of Louis and Louise Nippert who operated Greenacres as a mid-twentieth century gentleman’s farm from 1948 to 2012. To preserve for the public an area reflecting the traditional environment of Indian Hill and its historical significance by preserving Greenacres in its current state of woodland and farmland. To preserve the integrity of all land owned and purchased by Greenacres Foundation in order to encourage conservation and appreciation of nature by providing the public, particularly children, opportunities to study plant and animal life in their natural settings. To encourage appreciation of music and culture by providing facilities and an atmosphere that will encourage artists to display their talents for all age groups.

GreenAllies is a youth-powered movement putting students at the center of change. We envision a world where students are not only seen as leaders, but are empowered to drive real change. Where communities grow stronger through youth-led action, shared purpose, and environmental stewardship. We are a 501c3 nonprofit that engages with, empowers and supports students to become local community leaders in environmental sustainability. Our Pottstown headquarters is the home of the student-led Althouse Arboretum, which serves as a replicable model of locally-focused, student environmental leadership. Green Allies’ national mission shines every day at the Althouse Arboretum. Voted Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Environmental Education Program, and presented with the 2025 Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence, GreenAllies now wants to use its replicable model to help other schools and organizations across the state and throughout the country with their own environmental programs and projects.
