Inland Empire Waterkeeper's mission is to protect and enhance the water quality of the Upper Santa Ana River Watershed through programs of advocacy, education, research, restoration, and enforcement. Our River KATS program: Kids Activism Together with Science, is an environmental education and mentoring program that provides underserved students in low-income communities with field trips and hands-on activities that allow students to explore watershed science. Through River KATS, we educate K-12 students about important environmental issues within their watershed that directly affect them, their families, and their communities.

ISEA inspires Great Lakes curiosity, stewardship, and passion through hands-on, experiential learning aboard a traditionally rigged tall ship schooner.

Inquir-Ed is an alternative, teacher-to-teacher, long-term professional development, support and consulting opportunity. The goal is to help teachers navigate considerations of time, space, money, standards and other obstacles so they can do more of the evidence-based, hands-on, problem-based and fun stuff they want to do.

Inside the Outdoors is a unique and hands-on environmental education program serving over 120,000 participants per school year. Our mission is to empower students, teachers, parents and the community to explore natural areas and expand their knowledge, understanding, and stewardship of the environment through our Field Trips, Traveling Scientist, and Community programs. The curriculum created for our programs support current California academic standards and allows students to interact with these concepts in a real world setting.

Inside-Outside: Nature-based Educators of New England formed in response to a growing interest in nature-based education. Our purpose is to develop a network of educators and educational institutions throughout New England to support, connect and partner; to confidently, safely and joyfully venture outdoors with children; and to use nature for teaching and learning.

To educate the public on the natural and cultural history of the area and to enhance the visitor experience through hands-on activities, educational programs, and recreational opportunities.

Their rigorous undergraduate curriculum offers meaningful real-world experiences and unique faculty-student partnerships. IBES faculty and students are leaders in the global conversation about environmental issues – on campus, at the State House, in boardrooms, and at the United Nations.
