The Land & Water Conservation provides a wide variety of services regarding water resource information, water pollution prevention and environmental education along with many other programs and services. We also administer several state programs, including the Wildlife Damage Abatement and Claims Program. Our office provides cost-sharing, technical assistance and educational programs to help conserve Marinette County land & water resources.

Our purpose is to provide conservation, recreation, and educational opportunities to promote understanding and appreciation with a sense of empathy and responsibility towards our natural communities.

Our mission is to partner with people in support of thriving lands, clean water, and healthy habitats. We do this through planning, technical assistance, and education.

To take available technical, financial and educational resources whatever their source and focus or coordinate them so that they meet the needs of the local land user for conservation of soil, water and related resources.
