To conserve, restore, and instill appreciation of the land and water resources of the Kennebec Estuary for today's communities and future generations. The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust offers as many accommodations as possible on a case by case basis

The Kennebunkport Conservation Trust is dedicated to preserving land for use by current and future generations, and to managing properties in a way that reflects the natural and cultural heritage of Kennebunkport. Within that, we recognize the importance of connecting youth to their local landscape to learn about the history and ecology surrounding them. Trust in Education formed from this and as a program we work to create interdisciplinary, nature-based programming to enrich school curriculum, summer programs, and more.

To conserve, unimpaired, the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.

Kensington Metropark Nature Center offers environmental education programs and exhibits to promote understanding and appreciation of the natural world.

The Kent Soil & Water Conservation District partners with local, state and federal agencies to help protect the Chesapeake Bay. The District works with landowners to install conservation practices to protect soil health, prevent soil erosion and reduce run off of nutrients and chemicals into the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
