Loudoun Environmental Education Alliance
The Loudoun Environmental Education Alliance (LEEA) fosters environmental stewardship within Loudoun County by promoting education, cultivating collaboration, and inspiring community engagement. LEEA serves residents of all ages, including educators, K-12 students, families and groups interested in environmental education. We believe in an environmentally literate and equitable Loudoun County where values and community choices lead to the protection of the environment and natural resources for present and future generations. We envision easy access to meaningful environmental education experiences for all county residents.
LEEA holds an annual Student Environmental Action Showcase (SEAS) where individual students, green/eco-action teams, environmental clubs and youth groups are invited to inspire their community by sharing their work on reducing waste, conserving energy, conducting citizen science, improving water quality, preserving natural habitat and other sustainability-minded projects in their schools and communities.
