Island Packers is the concessionaire to the Channel Islands National Park, providing transportation to the islands from the Ventura and Channel Islands Harbors. We offer Floating Classroom programs to students K-12, focusing on the unique resources and environmental challenges impacting these offshore islands and the waters surrounding them. Our programs can be tailored to meet the educational goals of the instructors in both science and social science topics, and include subjects like introduced species, endemism, geology, marine resources, Native American inhabitants, human impact, and environmental stewardship.

We are a chapter of the NCWF. We host events aimed at educating the community about conservation.

IslandWood's mission is to provide exceptional learning experiences and inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship. IslandWood is an environmental education nonprofit. We offer a variety of immersive programs throughout the Seattle region to help children, educators, and community members deepen their understanding of the world around them, explore important environmental issues, and see the power they have to make a positive impact on their communities and the planet.
