Beetles develops capacity building resources for outdoor science and environmental education programs, with a special focus on equity, inclusion, cultural relevance and research based approaches to teaching and learning. The Beetles Project infuses outdoor science programs with research based approaches and tools to improve science teaching and learning.

Dedicated to environmental literacy, to an interdisciplinary approach to env. scholarship, and to formation of a more ecologically sustainable society, both on our campus and throughout our region.

Through a community education model, people of all ages can learn about the natural world and foster an attitude of stewardship toward the ecosystems and watersheds that sustain us.
