Napa County Resource Conservation District
We are a Resource Conservation District, we provide technical services to land managers such as irrigation audits, carbon farm plans, erosion control plans, and forest management plans. We monitor hydrology and groundwater, coordinate volunteer events, and provide K-12 environmental education to Napa County school as an informal provider. Our EE programs are focused at the 5th - 12th grade level, with an increasing focus on continuation schools, career and workforce development, and service-learning for watershed health.

Narragansett Bay Commission
NBC's mission is to maintain a leadership role in the protection and enhancement of water quality in Narragansett Bay and its tributaries by providing safe and reliable wastewater collection and treatment services to its customers at a reasonable cost. It owns and operates the two largest wastewater treatment facilities in Rhode Island: the Bucklin Point Wastewater Treatment Facility in East Providence and the Field's Point Wastewater Treatment Facility in Providence. The NBC also has an award-winning education program and provides tours of its treatment facilities for grades 3 and above.

Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
Based on Prudence Island in Narragansett Bay, NBNERR is one of 30 National Estuarine Research Reserves located around the country. This network of protected areas was established to provide long-term protection of coastal lands so they can serve as platforms for research, education, training, and stewardship. The Reserve is supported and administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and managed by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM). NBNERRÂ’s mission is to preserve, protect and restore coastal and estuarine ecosystems of Narragansett Bay through long-term research, education, and training.

The Boy Scouts of America prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Through outdoor experiences, they provide the most relevant and rigorous character and leadership program available today. Scouting develops leaders that are good problem solvers, community-minded, physically fit, and prepared for success in life. Two of the many programs offered through the Narragansett Council include Project C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience), a "low ropes course" that includes a series of physical, mental, and emotional challenges, and Adventure Day Camp, a week-long program including activities such as archery, boating, swimming, crafts, outdoor cooking, fire-building, nature appreciation, and daily STEM projects.
