Nature Camp exists to educate a community of interested individuals and to inspire a commitment to conserve and sustain the environment and its natural resources as responsible stewards of the Earth. Through a program of place-based, experiential education in natural history and environmental studies which combines rigorous yet non-formal academic study with outdoor recreation, Nature Camp has since 1942 sought to foster a deep and abiding connection with the natural world, to instill a commitment to wise stewardship of the Earth and its natural resources, and to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes conserves a natural area, connects people with nature and inspires environmental stewardship.

We exist to drive a passion for nature, for all, where everyone connects with, experiences and protects nature. Founded in 1987, Nature Collective is a leader in conservation, land preservation, and environmental education in San Diego County. We strive to boost environmental and science literacy through meaningful, equitable, and ongoing student engagements in nature settings, as well as in the schoolyard and classroom. Through our programs, students connect with local natural spaces, experience and develop science skills, and become empowered to protect and care for the environment within and beyond their own communities.

TNC is a global conservation organization dedicated to overcoming the barriers to climate and biodiversity solutions. In Rhode Island, TNC has conserved over 40,000 acres of wildlife habitat with many partners, and offers 25 nature preserves from Lincoln to Block Island. As part of its coastal program, TNC scientists are tracking changes in upper Narragansett Bay and in Block Island's Great Salt Pond, to help guide and implement fish habitat restoration strategies. And through its cities program, TNC is working with partners and community members to reduce neighborhood flooding and stormwater pollution, and to develop an urban forestry plan that equitably delivers the benefits of trees across Providence's 25 neighborhoods. Through its digital Nature Lab platform, TNC offers a variety of free, age appropriate courses in conservation science for grades K-5, 6-8 and 9-12, plus bonus virtual field trips and teacher guides.

Nature Days
Come outdoors with a naturalist! Supporting nature learning through song, hikes, games, observation, journalling, crafts, and the natural sciences.

To inspire a lifelong love, curiosity and appreciation for the outdoor world, that leads to advocacy and care for our environment, landscapes and wildlife. We believe that engagement and meaningful connection with the outdoor world contributes to healthy emotional, physical and intellectual growth. Nature Detectives is a weekly engaging hands on and inquiry-based learning program combining literacy, the arts, science and field-based discovery. Kindergarten through third grade students can explore at home, school, or neighborhood . The program is arranged into three 8-week seasonally themed sessions (fall, winter, spring).
