The Orono Land Trust preserves fourteen properties in fee (1,042 acres), eleven conservation easements (1,494 acres), nine trail easements (4 acres) and stewards 192 acres of other private and public land in Orono and the surrounding areas. OLT maintains these properties and trails for public non-motorized use, including walking, skiing, snowshoeing, skating, bicycling, and other low-impact recreational opportunities.
