MakeKnowledge is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating ecosystems of opportunity in education. Our Schools & Climate Transformation project, we have developed projects like "STEM++" (helping underrepresented students persist on STEM pathways) and our Future of Work & Education conference (2020).

The National Park Service preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.

To respect and protect this historic sacred site through conservation and education so that the cave land and water are preserved for visitors and wildlife as a place of peace.

We are a unit of the National Wildlife Refuge System whose mission to is to conserve wild lands for the benefit of plants and wildlife as well as allowing the use by visitors in a sustainable manner. Our Refuge was established specifically for the preservation of Bottomland Hardwood Forests which is a shrinking ecosystem. We also have a decent freshwater mussel population and wildlife and plants that utilize the unique characteristics of bottomland hardwood forests like prothonotary warblers.
