Creek Lands Conservation
Creek Lands Conservation works to conserve and restore freshwater and near shore marine ecosystems throughout California's Central Coast through conservation science, education, and stewardship. One of our educational goals is to foster functional eco-stewards. Our NGSS aligned curriculum, Protecting Our Watersheds (POW) program is a cross-curricular conservation science program for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders that focuses on local phenomena to help students' develop a sense of place and connection with the environment.
