The Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming advances the understanding and resolution of complex environmental and natural resources challenges. We support students as well as citizens, stakeholders, and decision makers by giving them the skills and tools they need to build durable, inclusive solutions to our most pressing environment and natural resource challenges.

The mission of the Environmental Stewards Program is to foster a diverse community of stewards building toward sustainability and resilience in California’s communities and ecosystems through education and service.

Elkus Ranch is part of the University of CA Ag and Natural Resources. We provide Environmental Education through hands on learning. We see school age children for field trips. We focus on where our food and clothing fiber come from, predator/prey relationships, and recycling. We have gardens and livestock which helps us deliver our programs. We have public days including our Sheep to Shawl Day.
