OKLAHOMA FORESTRY SERVICES’ MISSION IS TO CONSERVE, ENHANCE AND PROTECT OKLAHOMA’S FORESTS AND NATURAL RESOURCES FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS. THROUGH ACTIVE CONSERVATION MANAGEMENT. FORESTRY SERVICES IS ALSO THE STATE’S PRIMARY AGENCY RESPONSIBLE FOR WILDLAND FIRE DETECTION, SUPPRESSION, PREVENTION, AND INVESTIGATION.

Our mission is to help foster a thriving mushroom community united by our shared love for Kingdom Fungi. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where attendees of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn about mushroom cultivation, foraging, health supplements, and recent scientific advancements. By offering educational presentations, immersive experiences, and interactive workshops, we hope to spark a profound appreciation for all mushrooms and other fungi. We strive to inspire our community to explore the potential of mushrooms for personal well-being and to foster relationships that enhance their lives and local communities.

The Oklahoma Geological Survey is a state agency for research and public service located on the Norman Campus of The University of Oklahoma and affiliated with the OU Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. The Survey is chartered in the Oklahoma Constitution and is charged with investigating the state's land, water, mineral, and energy resources, and disseminating the results of those investigations to promote the wise use of Oklahoma's natural resources consistent with sound environmental practices.
