The Friends of Daley Ranch support and promote the City of Escondido's efforts to protect and maintain Daley Ranch Conservation Bank habitats and wildlife. Our goals are to educate the next generation of Environmental Stewards and provide service-learning opportunities that supplement our educational programming, develop and implement enhancement projects that support the conservation of Daley Ranch and cultivate relationships with sister organizations and encourage responsible recreational opportunities at Daley Ranch.

We conserve water and wildlife resources forever through the preservation of open land.

We promote gardening, preservation of historic gardens, conservation and environmental protection, education of members and youth, civic beautification, horticulture and floral design.

The Green Project develops a culture of creative reuse by building a marketplace for reclaimed materials and cultivating a respect for their value.

TGS is a public charter high school that explores the interdependence of human and natural systems. Through a rigorous pre-college curriculum, TGS develops citizens and leaders engaged in finding peaceful and sustainable solutions to local and global challenges. Through direct experiences in nature along with the latest in environmental science and technology, students grow academically and socially, become environmental stewards, and actively manage the limited resources we share as a global community.

From family fishing expeditions to comprehensive region-wide flood mitigation, The Greenway Foundation is taking constant action to ensure a sustainable water future. We are bringing the community to the river and the river to the community. Since 1974, we’ve been leading efforts to reclaim the South Platte River and its tributaries, transforming our community’s vital watershed from a virtual cesspool to a place of environmental and recreational pride. As we look to the future, we believe our work is just getting started.
