Our mission is to promote educational equity by providing free, overnight environmental learning experiences for students who don’t otherwise get the opportunity.

Viles Arboretum is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 1982 in conjunction with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands in order to provide educational, recreational, and inspirational opportunities through the conservation of land and the cultivation of trees and other woody plants from around the world. Located in Maine’s Capital City, the Arboretum is a no-fee 224 acre botanical garden which features miles of trails, a rotating suite of programs and events, a full service visitor center, and a variety of habitats home to flora and fauna of Statewide importance.

Motivating individuals and communities to care for the environment through education, research, and avian wildlife rehabilitation. The Vermont Institute of Natural Science fosters a deeper understanding of the natural world through science education encouraging children and adults to become stewards of the natural world.

We advance environmental literacy in Virginia, for all Virginians, through the power of environmental education by promoting excellence, fostering collaboration, and inspiring community engagement.

The Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD) is a private nonprofit association of 47 soil and water conservation districts in Virginia and is classified accordingly as a 501(c)(5). It is a voluntary, nongovernmental association of Virginia's districts. The Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts and its Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3), provides and promotes leadership in the conservation of natural resources through stewardship and education programs. It coordinates conservation efforts statewide to focus effectively on issues identified by local member districts. Our mission is to serve and strengthen soil & water conservation districts in the stewardship of natural resources.

VCE Loudoun provides research-based educational programs for Loudoun County residents. These programs promote healthy living, improving our food systems, youth development, and taking care of the environment.
