TSC’s mission is to engage youth in STEM principles through accessible, nature-related experiences with a commitment to those who are underrepresented in STEM fields.

The SCA is a national non-profit changing lives through hands-on conservation work in the outdoors. For decades, the SCA has been connecting urban youth to nature. Our program participants protect and restore national parks, marine sanctuaries, cultural landmarks and community green spaces across the country. After working with the SCA, our members emerge with increased environmental awareness, social responsibility and leadership skills.

CONNECT the public to wildlife through ambassadors, giving them the chance to LEARN the importance of these animals to the environment, while inspiring them to PROTECT wild counterparts and spaces.

Connecting people to nature through educational experiences that promote conservation. The purpose of the Virginia Living Museum shall be to stimulate knowledge, awareness and appreciation of the biological and physical world, and to develop an understanding of its relationship to the environment of the planet and the universe beyond. This shall be accomplished by providing a variety of living interpretive exhibits and education programs for the public, students and educators that encourage a commitment to protection and conservation of our natural world and its delicately balanced components.
