The Water Conservation Garden-Ms. Smarty-Plants™
The Ms. Smarty-Plants ™ environmental education program develops environmental champions informed and engaged in water conservation and local climate change solutions. We have a long history of coordinating this STEAM and science-based program that meets and exceeds California Common Core Science and Next Generation Science Standards. Our character-based water conservation education program empowers children and adults to learn about water-saving gardening practices in a fun and engaging way. The project encourages participants to lessen their impact on limited freshwater supplies and offers multiple safe opportunities to experience the many mental, physical, and social benefits of being outdoors in nature.
