For more than 50 years, CBF's award-winning education programs have connected students, teachers, and school leaders to the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Through hands-on field experiences, leadership training, and classroom support, we're inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders.
CBF’s education programs engage students, teachers, and school leaders in the Chesapeake Bay region through outdoor field experiences, science-based investigations, and professional learning. From paddling wetlands to sampling water quality, participants explore the Bay’s ecology and culture while gaining tools to champion environmental literacy and stewardship in their schools and communities.

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Mission is to Save the Bay, and keep it saved as defined by reaching a 70 on CBF's Health Index. For over 50 years, CBF's Education Department has provided meaningful watershed experiences to more than 1.5 million participants. We offer student field programs, a student leadership program, and professional learning opportunities.

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum explores and preserves the history, environment, and culture of the entire Chesapeake Bay region, and makes this resource accessible to all.

To promote the conservation and responsible use of our natural and agricultural resources for the people of Cheshire County by providing technical, financial, and educational assistance. We value our role in providing public outreach and education to the community that focuses on environmental concerns in a manner that encourages appreciation and stewardship of natural assets for the benefit of future generations.
