The Prince William Sound Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council was formed after the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill to provide a voice for citizens affected by decisions related to the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company’s Valdez Marine Terminal and associated oil tankers. Our member organizations are communities in the region affected by the 1989 spill, as well as commercial fishing, aquaculture, Alaska Native, recreation, tourism, and environmental groups.
