Swarovski Waterschool USA provides hands-on, place-based water education resources to communities and educators in the Mississippi River watershed. By incorporating science with solutions through action projects, students become environmental leaders and lifelong stewards of Earth’s water resources. The Swarovski Waterschool program is facilitated through a variety of community and school-based programs. During the academic year, the Waterschool education team visits classrooms and afterschool programs to facilitate hands-on water science explorations and the impact humans have on local and global water resources. Waterschool USA hosts immersive summer programs for high school students.

Advance conservation of waterfowl and wetlands, act as a local educational resource for avian biology and wetlands ecology, and serve as an international center for avicultural training and research.

The Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS) seeks to advance the natural history, conservation, and ecosystem knowledge of the Tahoe region through science, education, and outreach.

The Tahoe Rim Trail Association's mission is to maintain and enhance the Tahoe Rim Trail system, practice and inspire stewardship, and preserve access to the natural beauty of the Lake Tahoe region.
