Crystal Cove Conservancy is the nonprofit partner to Crystal Cove State Park, which is located on the unceded lands of the Acjachemen and Tongva Tribal Nations in Orange County, CA. We work in partnership with California State Parks to restore the Crystal Cove Historic District and educate our next generation of environmental leaders in order to ensure that Crystal Cove, and places like it, are protected for generations to come.
Our STEM education programs are unique because they position students to contribute directly to the protection of this important space. During our programs, which link classroom learning to field excursions in the park, students work alongside scientists and land managers to investigate how Crystal Cove's ecosystems are changing over time.
Along with field trips, we also offer free virtual versions of our programs that are open to any educators across California. Scholarship funding is also available for teachers who want to join us on field trips.
