Save The Bay protects and restores San Francisco Bay for people and wildlife, uniting the Bay Area to create a clean and healthy Bay. As climate change and pollution threaten the Bay, we lead initiatives to make our region sustainable for future generations. With support from generous donors and our caring community, we provide the tools and resources necessary for our Restoration team to engage over 6,000 volunteers in critical wetland restoration work to protect communities against flooding and re-build essential wildlife habitat. Our Policy team works to advance state and local legislation that reduces pollution and promotes sustainable development in the face of climate change. Finally, our education team provides FREE hands-on science and nature education programs to over 2,500 students annually.
