3C-REN (Tri-County Regional Network) reduces energy use in our region's buildings for a more affordable, healthy, resilient, and sustainable community.

3C-REN is a collaborative partnership between San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties. We work on improving energy efficiency in our region by offering free programs and services for all building professionals and households.

3C-REN currently offers 3 programs; Energy Code Connect (ECC), Building Performance Training (BPT), and Home Energy Savings (HES).

Building Performance Training (BPT)
Building Performance Training is tailored for current and prospective building professionals—with expert instruction, technical trainings, soft skills development and certifications on the latest energy efficiency methods and measures.

Energy Code Connect (ECC)
Energy Code Connect makes it easier for building professionals to use, comply with, and enforce California’s complex and ever-changing energy code. The Energy Code Connect program serves to build professionals by offering Title 24 support for residential and commercial

Home Energy Savings (HES)
3C-REN Home Energy Savings programs help residents ?and multifamily property owners of the tri-county region save money and make their homes healthier with energy efficient upgrades.
From heating and cooling to building envelope and water heating upgrades, 3C-REN incentives enable deeper energy and cost savings.
