We advocate for K-12 adoption of a unified set of related school-based practices — school gardens, nature-based learning, mindfulness, teaching kitchens, PE — that strengthen children’s wellbeing and resilience; and for educators to adopt wellbeing as a learned competency as crucial as math, reading and writing for fully preparing students.
