Our Mission

To inspire a lifelong love, curiosity and appreciation for the outdoor world, that leads to advocacy and care for our environment, landscapes and wildlife. We believe that engagement and meaningful connection with the outdoor world contributes to healthy emotional, physical and intellectual growth.

Nature Detectives is a weekly engaging hands on and inquiry-based learning program combining literacy, the arts, science and field-based discovery. Kindergarten through third grade students can explore at home, school, or neighborhood . The program is arranged into three 8-week seasonally themed sessions (fall, winter, spring) . The foundation of our program is keeping a Nature Discovery Journal to record evidence, measure, describe, and draw.

We will begin offering online Train the Trainer Licensed Programs in the 2021-22 school year. Training begins with an orientation, three seasonal training programs. and online support
