The HEAL Project offers experiential farm-based programs at The San Mateo County School Farm in Half Moon Bay. Our educational science programs cultivate kids'' environmental awareness and health literacy. Students who visit the farm are empowered by learning about their food system and earth''s natural cycles to better understand where their food comes from and why it matters. We have a series of different types of field trips that can be chosen ranging from one to two touch points and compost specific programming. Fees are calculated based on a tier system that is based on school Free and Reduced Lunch percentages. Since we are having in person visits currently, we also have available both synchronous and asynchronous online lessons for classroom teachers. All of these options can be found on our website.
